Gernot is a Vienna-based freelance photographer of all things beautiful. Making music himself, he also loves to capture the moments of making music on a still image.

He holds the distinctions of EFIAP (Excellence de la Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique) and EVÖAV (Excellence, Verband Österreichischer Amateurfotografen-Vereine) for successful competition photography.

Milestones:

• 2011: EVÖAV and AFIAP distinction
• 2013: EFIAP distinction
• 2015: Solo exhibition "Sprechende Fassaden" (talking facades) at Bezirksmuseum Josefstadt, 1080 Wien
• 2016: exhibition at official rooms of district representation Josefstadt, 1080 Wien
• 2017: exhibition together with Yulia Onípchenko at KreativRaum Galerie, 1010 Wien
